DMCA Policy

Furor Bedeutung respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (the "DMCA"), the text of which may be found on the U.S. Copyright Office website at http://www.copyright.gov/legislation/dmca.pdf, Furor Bedeutung will respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement committed using the Furor Bedeutung service and/or the Furor Bedeutung website (the "Site") if such claims are reported to Furor Bedeutung's Designated Copyright Agent identified below.

This policy describes the information that should be present in a DMCA Notice and a Counter-Notice. It is designed to make submitting notices of alleged infringement to Furor Bedeutung as straightforward as possible while reducing the number of notices that are fraudulent or difficult to understand.

Filing a DMCA Notice of Alleged Infringement

If you are a copyright owner, or are authorized to act on behalf of one, or authorized to act under any exclusive right under copyright, please report alleged copyright infringements taking place on or through the Site by completing the following DMCA Notice of Alleged Infringement and delivering it to Furor Bedeutung's Designated Copyright Agent.

Upon receipt of a valid DMCA Notice, Furor Bedeutung will expeditiously remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content. Please note that Furor Bedeutung may forward the DMCA Notice to the user who allegedly provided the infringing content.

  1. Identify the copyrighted work: Clearly identify the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed, or if multiple copyrighted works are covered by this Notice, you may provide a representative list of the copyrighted works that you claim have been infringed.
  2. Identify the infringing material and its location: Identify the material that you claim is infringing (or to be the subject of infringing activity) and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, and information reasonably sufficient to permit Furor Bedeutung to locate the material, including the URL(s) where the material is visible.
  3. Provide contact information: Include your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  4. State your good faith belief: Include a statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the copyrighted material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law (e.g., as a fair use).
  5. State accuracy and authority: Include a statement that the information in this Notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
  6. Provide your signature: Provide your physical or electronic signature (typing your full legal name is sufficient).

Filing a DMCA Counter-Notification

If you believe that your content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may send a Counter-Notification to our Designated Copyright Agent. Upon receipt of a valid Counter-Notification, Furor Bedeutung may reinstate the content in question.

To be effective, a Counter-Notification must be a written communication provided to Furor Bedeutung's Designated Copyright Agent that includes substantially the following:

  • Identify the removed material: Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location (URL) at which the material appeared before it was removed or access to it was disabled.
  • State your good faith belief: A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled.
  • Provide your contact information: Your name, address, and telephone number.
  • Consent to jurisdiction: A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or if your address is outside of the United States, for any judicial district in which Furor Bedeutung may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided notification of the alleged infringement or an agent of such person.
  • Provide your signature: Your physical or electronic signature (typing your full legal name is sufficient).
